Brand of Yarn: Plymouth Yarn, Baby Alpaca Brush
Yarn Content: 80% Baby Alpaca/20% Acrylic
Recommended Hook/Needle Size: I-hook
Hook/Needle Size Used: I-hook
Experience at Craft: Learned when I was six, on and off until I was 21, almost constant practice for the last two years [I'm 23].
Pros: The yarn is slightly fuzzy but still very easy to work with. Warm. Works up very prettily. Comes in easy to handle skeins.
Cons: Frogging was a bit difficult, as the fuzziness of the yarn caused tangles, and the yarn is a touch scratchy.
Overall impression: I very much liked the yarn overall. It was, with the exception of a few tangles, very easy to work with, and it built up into a nice project. It seems quite durable and still lightweight.
