Yarn Critiques

[mood |busy]

Brand of Yarn: Bernat Denim Style
Yarn Content: 70% acrylic/30% soft cotton
Recommended Hook/Needle Size: H [8]
Hook/Needle Size Used: H [8]
Craft: Crochet
Experience at Craft: Learned as a child, picked it back up and have been going steady for three years.
Pros: It's soft and isn't painful on the hands. There's a bit of stretch to it, and it's reasonably priced while feeling very nice.
Cons: It seems to shed intermittently. The first project I worked with it left me covered in bits of yarn lint, but I didn't get any lint on me during the second project. The stretch can be a drawback when it comes to purses, as the weight in the purse will cause the yarn to stretch out and accommodate.
Overall impression: I like this yarn. I think it's a good yarn for hats and blankets, and the price is reasonable. I like the softness and the easiness of working with it, and I can always keep a lint roller handy if I need to clean up.
